Alaska Layers

Sometimes the sun hits just right, when you’re surrounded by mountains, they cast creative shadows that continue to shrink and grow and transform throughout daylight hours, providing some fun (and often frustrating) light layers. Here the different elevation collects snow at various levels and the light illuminates some while keeping others in the shadows to highlight these contrasts. I love it!
